Gen 1:11-13 And God said, "Let the earth sprout vegetation, plants yielding seed, and fruit trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind, on the earth." And it was so. The earth brought forth vegetation, plants yielding seed according to their own kinds, and trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. And there was evening and there was morning, the third day. ESV ................................................................................................................................................ I believe this passage really speaks for its self. The account of creation is truly a glorious miracle. Have you ever just sat back and thought about God creating something? How many times do we try to make something and "forget" something.. God never forgot anything. In fact, he knew exactly what he was making the entire time. Just look at your hand for example. Try to think of every system in your body that works just to move one finger. Muscles and tendons in the finger relax or flex to allow the finger to move on the joint..... But that's not all. Before you move your finger it took a thought from the brain to stimulate the nervous system to produce the "command", if you will, so that the finger could move. But even before that could happen, your lungs needed to pull in just the right amount of oxygen to introduce into the blood stream to feed the brain so that the brain could coordinate the action of moving the finger. But even still before that could happen, the brain needed to tell the heart to pump the oxygen rich blood up to the brain so that you could think that you wanted to flex your finger. When you really break it down, it truly is a miracle that we have a body that does all these things and works. Only by God's great design are we held together. And only because of his will do we exist. And we are but a tiny part of the creation. Aren't you glad we have an all-knowing God. I most certainly am!
